project: STAP!
designer: Mazzaretto Stefano
evaluation: Prize awarded for the creativity of an elegant and ergonomic design that covers a double function, that of a handle which can be mounted on cabinets, doors and walls, and a convenient bottle opener to be used in a domestic context, but above all in commercial settings—bars, restaurants, pubs—to make opening bottles quicker and easier.

designer: Lana Elena
evaluation: Prize awarded for originality of design in which the base support renders this object multi-functional and easy-to-move for use in a range of domestic environments.

designer: Balduit Heros e Burato Mattia
evaluation: A project based on interplay between form and mass, designed to furnish any setting with the option of customising on the basis of personal taste.

designer: Pilati Alice
evaluation: Prize awarded for versatility and variety of use, in particular in public places and entertainment areas, thanks to a number of formal solutions that all make use of the same elements, combined with ease-of-producibility.

evaluation: The project evaluated fully meets award characteristics, offering a mobile expositional system whose composition varies noticeably on an aesthetic and compositional plane through simple and easy movements.
Also very commendable for its intended area of application: stores or show rooms, an interesting market given the latter’s continuous development and the need to frequently change the arrangement of products on display.
In may also be utilised in the private sector, thus increasing its market potential. The formal solution, which is particularly youthful, makes it a product definitely tailored to today, and one with the potential for different types of aesthetic presentation.

evaluation: Prize awarded for the versatility of use of a piece of furniture that integrates two furnishing elements - a bookcase and a comfortable chaise longue - in a clean, streamlined designed which also optimises living space.
MaTech Special Mention
project: MANIGLIA LED-A
designer: Angeletti Adriano
evaluation: Prize awarded for successfully combining the ergonomy and primary function of the handle with an innovative concept of functionality through an efficacious and cost-effective solution based on the best principles of product innovation through technology transfer.
